West Park Healthcare Centre provides specialized rehabilitative and complex care after a life‐altering illness or injury such as lung disease, amputation, stroke, and traumatic musculoskeletal injuries. The goal is to help individuals maintain their independence and continue living at home or in the community.
West Park takes a coordinated, inter-professional and collaborative team approach to each patient's care. Every required discipline is involved in the patient's journey and care plan to support the patient's needs, including physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, rehab assistants, recreational therapists, spiritual care and other healthcare professionals.

The extension of West Park Drive and Recovery Road is open.
- West Park Drive will provide access from Charlton Settlement to the front of the Long-Term Care Centre.
- Recovery Road will provide access from Parking Lot 1 to Buttonwood Avenue.
The drop-off area in front of West Park Healthcare Centre will be one-way traffic.
- Parking Lot 1 (next to Long-Term Care Centre): The newly, gated Parking Lot 1 is for visitors and staff of West Park and the West Park Long-Term Care Centre (LTCC) only.
- Parking Lot 3 (Underground): West Park staff opting to park in the underground garage must park on level P2 or P3.
- South Lot: This lot is for UHN Reactivation Care Centre (RCC) staff, as well as visitors to West Park, LTCC and RCC. West Park staff are not be permitted to park here.
- UHN RCC Parking: Parking at the rear of the RCC remains available for staff on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Badge access:
- To enter the gated lots (Lot 1 and Lot 3), staff must present their access card to the card reader, ensuring contact is made for 2-3 seconds in order for gates to open.
Hang tags:
- Blue tags. RCC staff are to continue displaying their blue hang tags at all times while parked on campus and comply with all signage and line paintings to avoid a parking infraction.
- Red tags. Those with red accessibility hang tags should continue to display them to use the reserved accessibility parking stalls.
- Green, purple, and yellow hang tags. These tags are no longer used and should be discarded.
