The Peter Munk Cardiac Centre, in alignment with Ontario Health, continues to manage all health care services impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes diagnostics, procedural care and non-urgent and scheduled surgeries. As the COVID-19 rates in the community increase or decline, we will take the appropriate measures to ensure the safety of our patients.
Clinicians are continuing to monitor their patients to determine who should be seen in-person vs. virtually. A virtual visit might be a phone call, video chat, or Telehealth appointment. (Learn more about Virtual Visits at UHN.) If there are any changes to your upcoming appointment, you will be contacted by the clinic or physician's office before your appointment date.
We encourage you to call your clinic if you have any questions. Clinic and diagnostic area numbers can be found on your appointment itinerary and/or in the myUHN portal if you are subscribed.
Please visit UHN’s COVID-19 section to learn more about UHN's plans as we ease back into scheduled services and what you need to know before arriving at the hospital.
We are grateful for your patience, trust and understanding.
