West Park Healthcare Centre has specialized inpatient services for patients recovering from a stroke, neurological conditions, acquired brain injury, or behaviours related to an acquired brain injury. The goal is to help patients reach a level of independence and return to living in the community independently or with support.

The services encompass an interdisciplinary healthcare team, which may include attending physicians, nurses, neuropsychologists, occupational therapists, pharmacists, physiotherapists, recreation therapists, rehabilitation assistants, speech-language pathologists/communicative disorder assistants, service coordinators, and social workers.

Patients may be referred to Outpatient Rehabilitation, day programs and/or outreach services, which offer services to further improve progress and independence while living in the community.
