Caregiver Resource Hub

At UHN, we see caregivers at the bedside, attending clinic appointments, and supporting patients at every step of their health care journey. Often, they provide this support alone, but caregivers also have their own needs since caring for someone can be a new and sometimes overwhelming experience.

The Caregiver Resource Hub was created with caregivers, for caregivers to share all the resources UHN offers. We hope that this site will support you in your caregiving role.

Who is a Caregiver?

To us, a caregiver is someone providing unpaid support to a relative, partner, friend or neighbour with a short or long-term health condition, physical or mental disability, or needs related to aging

About the Caregiver Resource Hub

Caregivers are important members of a patient's care team. The UHN Patient Experience team recognizes the need to support caregivers in their role. Funded by Petro Canada's CareMakers Foundation, the Caregiver Resource Hub was created by caregivers and UHN staff to share healthcare resources in plain language to meet the needs of caregivers at UHN.

If you are a caregiver and would like to share your feedback about the Caregiver Resource Hub, please email us at tgpen@uhn.ca.
