Referral requirements and access times vary for each specialized clinic. Certain services require a valid Ontario health card (OHIP card) issued by the provincial Ministry of Health. What We Do
Individuals with complex and ongoing health problems need help from time to time to maintain or improve their health and quality of life.
West Park Healthcare Centre's Clinics conduct assessment, treatment, and on-going care after discharge. It provides a variety of rehabilitation and wellness services as a continuum of care upon discharge, and trains family members and caregivers to provide care in the home.
Specialty Clinics
Amputee Clinic
West Park is dedicated to providing comprehensive amputee assessments and follow-ups for individuals with limb amputations. Individuals with limb amputations can access the Assistive Devices Program (ADP) for authorized mobility aids (except wheelchairs).

Augmentative and Alternative Communication Clinic
Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) includes methods that help or replace a person’s speech and writing.
West Park’s AAC Clinic assesses each individual’s communication needs and physical abilities. Based on these assessments, the AAC Clinic recommends personalized methods to improve or substitute speech and writing to maximize communication for everyone. Geriatric Interprofessional Assessment Clinic
The
Clinic specializes in the functional enhancement of older adults with complex medical and psychosocial issues, as well as age-related changes. The specialty outpatient clinic provides comprehensive assessments of various aspects of aging to identify factors that can improve health, maximize independence and safety, and optimize quality of life.
Physiatry Clinic
The Physiatry Clinic specializes in the treatment and management of a wide range of physical and functional impairments. A physician referral is required. For an appointment or more information, please contact 416 243 3640.

Tuberculosis Clinic
West Park is the provincially designated treatment centre for difficult-to-treat cases of tuberculosis (TB) and other mycobacterial infections. The TB Clinic provides assessments of new referrals, treatment, and follow-up.
