The Pharmacy Department, in collaboration with the University of Toronto, provides an outstanding educational program for pharmacy students, and the only accredited General Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program focused in oncology in Ontario. With a large patient population, highly skilled staff and access to the latest technology in all fields, trainees receive a state-of-the-art educational experience.
The Pharmacy Department has collaborated with the governments of a number of countries, including Qatar and Kuwait, to provide training in best practices to pharmacists from these countries’ ministries of health. Through this international collaboration, we help to raise the standard of patient care worldwide.
