The Pharmacy Department at Princess Margaret is the largest comprehensive clinical pharmacy program in Canada focused on oncology, malignant hematologies, and immune effector cell therapies including stem cell transplants, and immunotherapies. Specialty-specific medications and clinical services are offered to Princess Margaret patients and caregivers, clinicians, visitors and walk-in customers. We are also committed to
research and
education initiatives that advance knowledge and innovation in cancer control.
Our pharmacy facilities and equipment employ current automated technologies for the safe preparation of cancer drug therapies. Our team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians ensures that the medications we prepare are safe and appropriate for patients. Our system of checks ensures that everything leaving our hands is accurate and adheres precisely to the medication order.
Our accredited hospital-owned outpatient pharmacy sees thousands of people with cancer every year. The experts on our team include pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, as well as a
Medical Reimbursement Specialist.

Proceeds from the Princess Margaret Pharmacy go back into the University Health Network corporate budget. From there, the funds are directed to the patient care areas that most need support.
