Meet UHN Nurses
UHN Nurses do it all. They care for us when we are in need. Nurses are empathetic, they provide holistic, clinical, emotional and spiritual support. They also possess grit and strength, critical thinking, and a vast knowledge of anatomy and science. Nurses provide for the patient at the bedside and they also lead teams, collaborate with health care colleagues, and teach and conduct research that can significantly impact health care and health care policy.
As we emerge from the pandemic and look to the future, we visited units across UHN with Toronto photographer
Derek Shapton. He spent time with nurses to capture them during moments of strength, courage and levity. Thank you, UHN Nurses!
