The Head and Neck Site Group provides continuing education on emerging best practices, technologies and care modalities to oncology professionals. Our education program includes residency, fellowships and continuing education opportunities for professionals in Ontario, across Canada, and internationally.
Our fellowship program provides focused high-level clinical and research experience to recently qualified medical, surgical and radiation oncologists. The fellowship program is available to dentists and dental subspecialties, and also provides electives to medical students of all disciplines.
We are very active in supporting continuing education for medical professionals. Every year we host the Annual Wharton-Elia Day, a conference that highlights multidisciplinary best practices in head and neck oncology. The Annual Wharton-Elia Day is an accredited program of:
- Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons
- University of Toronto
- American Medical Association Physician's Recognition Award
Princess Margaret is a fully affiliated teaching hospital of the University of Toronto.
