The Endocrine Site Group, in collaboration with the University of Toronto, provides an outstanding educational program for learners at various levels, including: medical students, residents and fellows in oncology and graduate students.
With a large patient population, highly skilled staff, and access to the latest technology in all fields, trainees receive a state-of-the-art educational experience. We have fellowships in all of our medical specialty disciplines and residents from all programs routinely rotate through our site as part of their more general oncology training in medical, radiation and surgical oncology.
We also provide opportunities for trainees to spend dedicated fellowship training in Endocrine Oncology and are active in educating second year medical students at the University of Toronto, Clinical Research, through the Determinants of Community Health course.
Our Site Group actively organizes and participates in continuing medical education programs and discipline-based meetings at the local, provincial, national, and international level.
Participants of this meeting included opinion leaders in thyroid cancer clinical care and research, as well as experts in clinical trial design. This meeting included participants from the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada.
Princess Margaret is a fully affiliated teaching hospital of the University of Toronto.
