The Department of Medical Oncology and Hematology (DMOH) at Princess Margaret is a major clinical training site for the University of Toronto. DMOH offers outstanding clinical experiences with a wide range of programs and technologies in a supportive, collegial, multidisciplinary learning environment. Weekly academic rounds, tumour boards and case conferences provide students with a glimpse into the high-quality, evidence-based multidisciplinary treatments offered to patients at Princess Margaret. Students are encouraged to take a hands-on approach to learning and will develop their clinical skills by seeing and assessing patients with a wide variety of problems at various points during their cancer experience.

Students wanting an elective or ambulatory community experience in oncology during undergraduate medical studies should consider an elective at DMOH at Princess Margaret.
