Referrals

For urgent referrals, please contact the office directly.

Please note that only physicians may send a referral. Please fax the following when referring your patient:

  • A referral letter
  • Clinical notes
  • Thyroid Referrals: ultrasound reports, fine needle aspiration biopsy results, CT scans and blood tests (if performed/available)
  • Parathyroid Referrals: ultrasound reports, parathyroid (MIBI) scan results, blood tests and other scans or tests you may have had (if performed/available)
  • Adrenal Referrals: CT or MRI reports, blood tests and urine tests (if performed/available)

Our office will call the referring physician with information about the patient’s first appointment. The referring physician's office is responsible for providing the patient with the appointment information, including time and location, and important documents, test results and imaging that they must bring.

What We Do

The Endocrine Surgery Clinic deals with the surgical management of thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal tumours. Some of the common conditions we treat include thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, goiter, Graves disease, toxic multinodular goiter, parathyroid tumours, adrenal nodules, pheochromocytoma, Conn's syndrome (aldosteronoma) and Cushing's syndrome (hypercortisolism).
