The Leukemia Site Group offers expertise in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of acute leukemia and other related bone marrow disorders. Our team of over 40 internationally recognized hematologists, hematopathologists and medical oncologists works inter-professionally with other physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists and other allied health professionals and administrative staff to provide timely, comprehensive care that treats the whole person, not just the disease.
Princess Margaret is an affiliated teaching hospital of the University of Toronto, so many of our staff hold teaching positions and participate in ongoing university-based research to advance leukemia treatment practices and care delivery.
Our staff also works collaboratively with other health care centres across Ontario to provide consultative expertise to help people with leukemia receive high-quality treatment closer to home.
