As the largest comprehensive gynecologic cancer centre in Canada, Princess Margaret’s Gynecologic Site Group sees more than 17,000 patient visits by women with, or at risk for, cervical, tubal, ovarian, uterine, vaginal and vulvar cancer every year.

We offer cutting-edge programs in screening, diagnosis, assessment, treatment planning and delivery, as well as follow-up care, patient education and survivorship support, to ensure that patients have access to the best care. Our internationally recognized, inter-professional team of medical, radiation and surgical oncologists works in collaboration with specialized oncology nurses, imaging specialists, psychiatrists, social workers, dietitians and other allied health professionals to offer patient-centred care that treats the whole person, not just the disease.

Our clinical programs include the Familial Breast and Ovarian Cancer Clinic and the Survivorship Program, which includes side effect management clinics, among many other patient education and support programs.

Referrals

Standard, urgent, second opinion, and clinical trial referrals can be offered in a timely fashion for all patients with gynecological cancers.

Princess Margaret Cancer Centre clinical practice guidelines are developed by multidisciplinary teams and are reflective of current evidence-based practice. These clinical practice guidelines provide information to referring institutions, regional and global partners, and assist in decision-making processes of individuals comprising multidisciplinary care teams.
