Andrea Sharp is the Manager of Outpatient Mental Health and Addiction Services at UHN's Centre for Mental Health. A registered social worker certified in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, she holds a BSW from Toronto Metropolitan University and a MSW from the University of Toronto's Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work. Andrea began her UHN career as a Social Work student in 1999 before joining the Immunodeficiency Clinic at Toronto General Hospital. She later became Manager of Professional Practice at Toronto Western Hospital (TWH), supporting the Centre for Mental Health, Krembil Brain Institute (KBI), and the Family Health Team.
Andrea has led various educational and training initiatives, including the implementation of BRITE (Building Resilience within Institutions Together with Employees) at TWH. Most recently, she managed Third Party Mental Health Services at Trillium Health Partners, where she collaboratively developed the First Responder Mental Health Pilot Specialty Program. With over 20 years of clinical, professional practice, and leadership experience, Andrea brings a deep commitment to providing mental health and addictions care.
