Toronto Rehab is the host institution for
AGE-WELL, a newly-launched national research network focused on aging and technology.
AGE-WELL was launched this week as part of a larger announcement of funding for four new Networks of Centres of Excellence.
"AGE-WELL will use the world-class facilities at Toronto Rehab and Simon Fraser University and a strong research and industry partnership network across the country to establish Canada as a leader in designing and implementing technology that contributes significantly to the well-being of older people," says Dr. Alex Mihailidis, Senior Scientist, Toronto Rehab and Joint Scientific Director, AGE-WELL.
