The Ajmera Transplant Centre at the University Health Network (UHN) is an internationally recognized leader in the fields of transplantation and regenerative medicine.

- The Centre for Renal Research: Information, Technology, Innovation, Quality and Education (CR2ITIQUE) is dedicated to effectively turning basic research from "bench" to "bedside" with a strong emphasis on clinical research. We are always conducting research studies to evaluate and advance the science of kidney/pancreas transplantation, and the care of transplant patients.
Current research areas include:
- Long-term chronic kidney/pancreas injury and function in transplant patients.
- Immunosuppression drug therapeutics and monitoring.
- Physiological complications – diabetes, obesity and cardiovascular-related.
- Quality of care research – Identifying approaches to improve your care processes with our best medicine practices.
