The R. Fraser Elliott endowment furthers research and education surrounding cardiac anesthesia and cardiac morbidity after anesthesia.
The funds are granted to:
- New or young investigators, as preliminary
- Pilot studies, whose goals are to obtain peer-reviewed funding and knowledge translation
Dr. Scott Beattie has held the R. Fraser Elliott Chair in Cardiac Anesthesia since 2004.
