The Department of Anesthesia and Pain Management receives Transition to Residency Students (TTR) from the University of Toronto. These are medical students in their final 14 weeks of their MD training.
TTRs are exposed to a Selective (3 weeks) in the clinical environment under supervision. The students have specific program goals and objectives that need to be met during the Selective period and are evaluated on a daily basis by their supervisors.
This Selective opportunity prepares students for the next stage of their learning as a 1st year anesthesia resident.
