DESCRIPTION
Clinical trials are necessary in order to evaluate the efficacy and safety of new devices and therapies before they can be introduced into practice. The Peter Munk Centre of Excellence in Multinational Clinical Trials builds upon a foundation of research strengths and recruits cardiologists and cardiovascular scientists who are experts in clinical epidemiology, clinical trial design and implementation, and health outcomes research – providing them with the infrastructure and resources that are essential for successful research.
