Undergraduate
In order to be employed as a radiation therapist in Canada, you need to graduate from an accredited program in medical radiation sciences and successfully complete the national exam of the
Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). In Ontario, in addition to the above requirements, radiation therapists must be registered with the CMRTO in order to practice within the province.

Radiation Therapy at The Michener Institute of Education at UHN
The Michener Institute offers joint Radiation Therapy degree-granting programs with both University of Toronto and Laurentian University. Those enrolled in the program will gain exposure to all aspects of the profession, including treatment planning and simulation, dose distribution, interprofessional collaboration, treatment delivery, patient care and health care ethics.

In addition, radiation therapists at Princess Margaret contribute to the education and training of undergraduate and post-graduate professionals.
