Research

Nancy Salbach

Nancy Salbach is a physical therapist who leads research to evaluate TIME™ Programs. Nancy holds the Toronto Rehabilitation Chair at the University of Toronto, is a Senior Scientist at The KITE Research Institute at Toronto Rehab-University Health Network and is a Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto.

Nancy was part of the initial 2007 pilot that showed the classic TIME™ program was safe and feasible to run in City of Toronto community centres. Research in her Knowledge-to-Action Mobility lab at the University of Toronto has revealed parts of the TIME™ program model that promote program safety and quality and strategies that support TIME™ program longevity. Evidence from Nancy's research is used to help community organizations decide whether to adopt and deliver the TIME™ programs to the benefit of their local communities.

Many studies have been published about the TIME™ program which we have included in this downloadable list . Below we feature 3 studies that highlight the great work of our research team.
