What We Do

Pulmonary function tests are breathing tests that are ordered by a physician and used in the assessment and management of lung disease. While sitting in a chair, the patient performs various breathing procedures through a mouthpiece connected to pulmonary measuring equipment. The full breathing test usually takes about 45 minutes to complete, but additional time is required if other specialized tests are also ordered.
