The Department of Anesthesia and Pain Management accepts Elective Students from universities across Canada and abroad. Each student is accepted for a 2 to 4 week period, depending on time availability.
In order to provide a comprehensive experience of our specialties, each student is given an orientation of the department and is scheduled in different operating rooms each day. Each elective student is evaluated on a daily basis by their supervisors, and provided with end-rotation feedback and evaluations, according to their university requirements.
