This is the research arm of the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, one of the top five cancer research centres in the world. It houses a team of internationally recognized scientists that seek to understand all aspects of cancer through research in stem cells, cell signalling, cell biology, structural biology, immunology and immune therapy, psychosocial oncology and palliative care.
It also includes the Campbell Family Cancer Research Institute and the Campbell Family Institute for Breast Cancer Research. Our facility has 388,588 square feet of cutting-edge research space that is equipped with state-of-the-art tools for research including facilities for molecular imaging, guided therapeutics, genomics, proteomics and bioinformatics.
