The Toronto General Hospital Research Institute (TGHRI) is the research division of Toronto General Hospital and is home to one of the world's leading research programs with multidisciplinary experts in the fields of cardiology, transplantation, immunology and autoimmunity, infectious diseases, tissue injury, diabetes and regenerative medicine.

More than 150 scientists and clinicians work side by side to bring innovative research findings from the lab to the bedside. These ground-breaking discoveries have led to therapeutic advances in organ transplantation, cardiac pacemakers and novel therapies in endocrine and autoimmune disorders.
