Self-bandaging is something you can do to help reduce a type of swelling called lymphedema. Lymphedema can happen if your lymph nodes are removed as part of cancer treatment. Lymph nodes are bean shaped organs that are found all over your body and are part of the lymphatic system. Your lymphatic system, including the lymph nodes, moves and filters fluid and waste from your tissues and sends it back to the heart.
The resources and videos on this webpage will show you how to bandage your upper limbs (arm, hand and fingers) and lower limbs (feet and legs) on your own to help reduce lymphedema.
