When You Arrive
The first person you meet at the Non-Invasive Diagnostic Vascular Lab is the receptionist. To sign in with the receptionist you will need your health card (OHIP card). If you do not have an OHIP card, please bring another form of government-issued photo ID (such as a driver's license, passport, or other provincial health card).
How Long Will Your Appointment Be?
First appointments take longer than follow-up appointments.
The average Non-Invasive Diagnostic Vascular Lab appointment can take 60 minutes per test required. If you are scheduled to be seen in the clinic after your Lab appointment you will proceed to
Vascular Clinic otherwise you will be informed that you may leave.
We do everything that we can to stay on time. Unfortunately, your appointment may be delayed by unforeseen circumstances. We recommend that you come prepared for delays.
Before You Leave
At the end of your first appointment, the doctor will review your test. The results will be mailed to the referring physician. The referring physician will determine the next step in treatment and notify you appropriately.
If you are unsure about what your next steps are, don't be afraid to ask a member of your team. We are here to help you.
