On September 7, Dr. Wayne Marshall, Executive Director of Osteoarthritis Research Program at UHN, welcomed Board members from the Interior Systems Contractors Association of Ontario to the Fell Pavilion Imaging Waiting Room at Toronto Western Hospital to celebrate their leadership support of a new EOS Scanner.
“An EOS Scanner can capture whole body images of a standing patient in a single scan without any distortion. This gives our teams an unprecedented view of a patient’s alignment, which is one of the factors in determining whether or not a person will respond positively to surgery. This is a significant leap in technology,” said Dr. Marshall.”
