What We Do

The Pituitary Clinic treats patients with tumours and other disorders of the pituitary gland.

The pituitary gland is about the size of a pea and is located in the base of the skull. This gland functions as a "master gland" and controls the secretion of many different hormones that affect various areas in the body. The most frequent cause of pituitary disorders is a tumour on the gland.

Neurosurgeons at the Pituitary Clinic are experts in the area of cranial surgery for patients and work closely with our endocrinologists and imaging experts.
